The crest has a serpentine curve and is painted and stenciled. The crest terminates in rounded ears with painted flowers. The crest is outlined in gold paint and at center is a painted floral design. From the crest are five tapered spindles that extend through bentwood and the arm rail to the plank. The bentwood segment of the back is outlined in gold paint. In addition to the five spindles from the crest, two additional spindles pierce from the bentwood through the arm rail to the seat. The arm rail has oxbow-shaped handholds, arm posts from the plank to the arm rest, and a turned post that is baluster turned with painted reels. The oval-shaped seat has a slight pummel at front which is painted with a foliate design. The spindle base is traced in gold paint. Four splayed legs are turned with gold painted bulbs and reels. The legs are braced by h-shaped stretchers. The medial stretcher is swelled at center with turned, painted-gold reels flanking the swell. The legs terminate in tapered cylinders.
