The crest rail is pierced and carved with scrolls and plumes in the Prince-of-Wales style. The crest rail and lower rail with molded lower edge are mounted between two baluster-turned rear stiles. Compressed ball and urn finials surmount the stiles. Four rectangular, vertical slats with molded front surfaces are mounted between the crest and lower rails. The trapezoidal rush seat has exposed corners. The front legs are baluster-turned with cut ball feet and a double-ball-and-spool-turned front stretcher. The rear stump legs are continuous with the stiles.
