Six legs with three turned, front legs and three square, slightly curved, back legs are attached to the seat rail with mortise and tenon joints. Feet terminate with brass castors on brass cups. Scrolling arms terminate in highly consistent hand holds with tightly carved interiors. Urn shaped arm supports that are reeded with a slightly counter-clockwise bend with five reeds.    Modern finish nails that are visible under front rail upholstery, indicating early twentieth-century construction of the frame.
