The rectangular frame is divided into two sections, with a tall vertical pane of mirrored glass in the lower section and a horizontal pane of glass with reverse-painted decoration in the upper section. The frame is composed of two molded side rails, each with three clustered columns, joined to an ogee-molded bottom rail and an ogee-molded crest rail with protruding stepped corners. Immediately below the stepped corners are two block forms with composition rosettes on the front surfaces. The molded crest rail and bottom rail are glued to plain backing rails that are mortise and tenoned to the side rails. A horizontal ogee-molded cross rail separates the upper and lower panes of glass in the frame.    The upper eglomise panel is painted with a gilt geometric and floral pattern on a white ground with a large central gilt flower inside a black square lined with gilt rays.    There is a vertical crack on the left side of the eglomise glass and some loss to the paint in the upper corners. The silvering on the lower pane of mirror glass is patchy and the tin amalgam is tarnished around the edges.
