Surmounting the upper case is a broken-arch pediment with scrolled ends and three flame finials mounted to plinths. The doors are paneled, ogee-scrolled and molded, flanked by fluted pilasters, with shaped escutcheons and keyholes. The lower case consists of a fall-front writing surface above four graduated drawers with molded edges and batwing escutcheons, two bail pulls flanking a central keyhole. Inside the unfolding lid is a central prospect door flanked by pilasters, two pigeonholes over a single drawer (one on each side), and three stacked drawers (on each side), of which the top one features a carved shell. The apron has a central shaped drop.
