The rectangular top has ogee molding along the front and side overhanging edges and notched front corners. The case has a row of two drawers over a row of three drawers. The drawer at the bottom center is wider than the flanking drawers and has a rococo-style carved foliate decoration set in a semicircular recess along the bottom edge of the drawer front. There is a small brass knob in the center of the carving. The other drawers each have a single bail pull with shaped back plate. The drawer openings have bead molding along the edges. The front of the case skirt has concave blocking at the center, below the recess. The front of the skirt is cut in three notched, flattened arches the placement of which follows the placement of the lower drawers. The table has cabriole legs that terminate in pad feet. <b>Photos of the table published in 1967 show turned acorn-shaped drop finials extending from the lower sections of the skirt. In photos published in 1971, the acorn finials have been replaced with ring-turned spire finials.
