The cupid's bow crest rail is ogee-arch with pointed ears, carved to simulate backward curving continuous with the side stiles, with a central shell carving. The chair back is scrolled and has an owl's-eye pierced splat. The front cabriole legs have carved knees and terminate in claw-and-ball feet; the back legs are stump with chamfered edges.
