The settee back is angled back slightly. Turned stiles are tenoned into the crest rail and seat. A turned spindle of approximately the same diameter as the stiles is set slightly to the right of the center back. To its left are eight narrow turned spindles; to its right are seven narrow turned spindles. S-curved arms extend from just below the crest rail to the front of the settee. Each arm is supported by a vase-turned arm support near the front edge of the seat and two narrow turned spindles. The settee has a rectangular plank seat. Three front turned legs and three rear turned legs are tenoned into the seat. Rectangular front stretchers and turned side stretchers support the legs.
