The crest is s-curved and terminates in carved volutes. Seven bamboo-turned spindles are tenoned through the bow to make the comb-back flanked by two additional spindles from the bow to the spindle platform. Three bamboo-turned arm posts connect the terminals of the continuous bow to the spindle platform. The seat is in a wide shield shape with saddled contouring. Four bamboo-turned legs extend from the plank. Bamboo-turned stretchers form an H-shape.  [T.C. HAYWARD] branded under seat.
