The top consists of one fixed and one hinged board, both of which overhang the apron. Unfolded, the top forms a square with notched, curved corners. The edges of the table top are inlaid with two rows of light wood stringing. The apron follows the profile of the table top and is visually divided by the legs, which continue to just below the table top and stand proud of the apron. Each section of the apron is veneered with figured mahogany. Light wood stringing outlines each section; the stringing is inverted at the corners. The center section of the apron has bookmatched veneer. The front legs have ovals of light wood stringing at the height of the apron. Below, a pointed arch of light wood stringing continues down the edge of each leg. Four therm legs support the table.
