The upper case has an overhanging top with applied molding around the edges at the front and sides. The case has two side-by-side drawers over a deep, full-width drawer. The front of the deep drawer has applied molding that gives the illusion of two side-by-side drawers. Pairs of half-turned spindles flank the deep drawer. The lower case has three full-width drawers hidden behind elaborately decorated doors. The right door is wider than the left, covering the center of the case to give the illusion of a stile running the full height of the case. Pairs of half-turned spindles flank the doors and are applied to the left side of the right door, as if applied to a stile. The lower case sits on flattened ball feet."},{"label":"Date Digitized","value":"10/29/2018"},{"label":"Materials","value":"White oak; Red oak; Chestnut; White pine; Maple; Walnut; Cedar; Cherry; Beech; Spanish cedar; Snakewood; Rosewood; Lignum vitae"},{"label":"Style","value":["Seventeenth-Century"]},{"label":"Basis of Date","value":"Dated by Yale University Art Gallery."},{"label":"Date (EDTF)","value":"D:00 M:00 Y:1650 - D:00 M:00 Y:1670"},{"label":"Basis of Origin","value":"Attributed to Boston by Brock Jobe, 2015."},{"label":"Place of Origin","value":"Boston, Massachusetts"},{"label":"Other Name","value":"Cupboard; Chest of drawers with doors"},{"label":"Object Type","value":["Chest of drawers"]},{"label":"Object Use","value":"Case furniture"},{"label":"Category","value":"Furniture"},{"label":"Title","value":"Chest-on-chest"},{"label":"Date Modified","value":"10/29/2018"}],"description":"Chest-on-chest","sequences":[{"@type":"sc:Sequence","canvases":[{"@id":"https://iiif.quartexcollections.com/winterthur/iiif/e6d8c6eb-6b62-4ccf-aa08-7d5dd56cdb1d/canvas/_1","@type":"sc:Canvas","label":"Chest-on-chest","height":1500,"width":1336,"images":[{"@type":"oa:Annotation","motivation":"sc:painting","resource":{"@id":"https://iiif.quartexcollections.com/winterthur/iiif/e6d8c6eb-6b62-4ccf-aa08-7d5dd56cdb1d/full/full/0/default.jpg","@type":"dctypes:Image","format":"image/jpeg","service":{"@context":"http://iiif.io/api/image/2/context.json","@id":"https://iiif.quartexcollections.com/winterthur/iiif/e6d8c6eb-6b62-4ccf-aa08-7d5dd56cdb1d","profile":"http://iiif.io/api/image/2/level2.json","tiles":[{"width":512,"scaleFactors":[1,2,4]}]},"height":1500,"width":1336},"on":"https://iiif.quartexcollections.com/winterthur/iiif/e6d8c6eb-6b62-4ccf-aa08-7d5dd56cdb1d/canvas/_1","metadata":[]}],"thumbnail":{"@id":"https://iiif.quartexcollections.com/winterthur/iiif/e6d8c6eb-6b62-4ccf-aa08-7d5dd56cdb1d/full/500,500/0/default.jpg","@type":"dctypes:Image","height":500,"width":500}}]}],"thumbnail":"https://iiif.quartexcollections.com/winterthur/iiif/e6d8c6eb-6b62-4ccf-aa08-7d5dd56cdb1d/full/500,500/0/default.jpg","logo":"https://iiif.quartexcollections.com/winterthur/iiif/logo"}
