The tablet crest rail had a recessed veneer tablet with volute ends. A veneered, trapezoidal splat constitutes the chair back, between veneered rear stiles that are continuous with the seat frame. The front seat rail is veneered with vertical graining, with a central, rectangular tablet flanked by squared tablets at the front corners of the seat frame.
