The table top is circular and consists of three boards. The top's underside is chamfered around the full circumference. The top is screwed to a rectangular support board which spans the area between chamfers on either side of the circle. The corners of this support board on its short sides have been cut so that the edges form obtuse angles. This board is thicker in the middle than it is at either end. It is possible tenoned to the square sitting atop the pedestal, but this is cannot be determined. The pedestal itself is a spiral turned elongated vase that flares out into a pseudo-triangular base. This base consists of two pieces of wood which fit over a tenon descending from the base of the pedestal. The table has three cabriole legs with snake feet, and each leg has single large reed running down its center. These reeds begin on the base. The legs appear to be tenoned to the base, but it is difficult to determine this with complete certainty.
