The contoured chair back has a yoke-shaped crest rail. The rear stiles have flat front surfaces and taper slightly toward the crest rail. A solid, vase-shaped splat is set between the crest rail and the shoe. The chair has a trapezoidal slip seat. The front baluster legs terminate in Spanish feet. The rear stump legs appear to be continuous with the stiles. A double-ball-and-ring-turned front stretcher, rectangular side stretchers, and swelled rear stretcher support the legs.
