The table top has an ovoid shape overall with ogee edge molding. The table apron features floral cartouches, at center front and back. One of the cartouches is of a hunting dog in full cry against foliate, acanthus, and fruit carved designs, and the other cartouche is a crouching fox also against foliate, acanthus, and fruit carved designs. The apron sides have three-dimensionally carved leaf and scroll designs. The s-curved legs are grooved and scrolled. Each molded knee bears a different classical motif comprised of leaves, scrolls, flowers, wheat, and grapes. The legs are braced by grooved and scrolled stretchers in a x-shape which climax at center with carved plumes and a bouquet of flowers, leaves, and fruit.
