Trapezoidal back that curves backward with flared sides. Crest rail curves horizontally and vertically with squared shoulders. The seat is a more subtle trapezoidal shape with corner blocks screwed to the front corners. The back and seat are upholstered with a modern, yellow fabric that is frayed at the top. Arms are attached with pinned mortise and tenon joints. The top surfaces of the arms are squared with rounded sides. From the chair back, the arms curve outward and then back in and terminate with straight arm supports that extend from the leg. At the hand hold, the front surface is molded and this surface continues the length of the front legs. Continuous with the arm supports, the front legs are squared and tapered and attached with pinned mortise and tenon joints. Back legs are squared, slightly tapered, and racked back. Catalogers were unable to evaluate the frame of the chair due to the modern upholstery and dust cover. There is a hole in the top of the front, right arm.
