(121.9 cm)"},{"label":"Description","value":"Federal-style six-leg sofa frame. The back and seat are slightly bowed. The back and rear stiles are angled back slightly. The back has a slight arch. Sloping vertical wings extend forward from either side of the back. The rail that forms the upper edge of each wing is reeded and not intended to be upholstered; the rails curve downward beyond the wings to meet arm supports that are continuous with the front exterior legs. The front vertical rails of the wings are faced with reeded mahogany strips. The seat is intended to be upholstered over the rails. The arm supports are turned with reeded, elongated vases flanked with ring turnings just above blocks at the level of the seat rail. The fronts of the blocks are veneered in light-colored, figured wood. Below the blocks, ring turnings surmount tapering, reeded legs. A third front leg has the same design. All three front legs terminate in turned, tapering feet.
