(194.3 cm)"},{"label":"Description","value":"Queen Anne-style high-post bed made of mahogany, used for the front posts, with maple, for the rear posts, and white pine, for the headboard.  The top frame is a box shape. The head and foot posts are smooth and cylindrical, tapering at the top and block-turned at the frame. The headboard is arched. The front legs are cabriole and terminate in pad feet.  According to the Colonial Williamsburg object record (1974), tenons have been shaved off and new pieces were put in to line up with the mortise holes.
