The interior has a row of three drawers at bottom, above which is a central prospect door with a narrow vertical keyhole surround and a rectangular bevel-molded panel topped by fan carving. Flanking the door are vertical document drawers with turned half columns with turned finials; flanking the drawers are four pigeonholes with scrolled valances and dividers over two drawers. These are flanked by four stacked drawers with concave blocked fronts topped by fan carving. All the interior drawers have round metal knobs. The oxbow case has cock-bead molding around the drawer openings; the four graduated drawers have escutcheons and bail pulls, which are old replacements. Ogee molding tops a narrow skirt, with a fan-carved central pendant. The shortened cabriole legs have scrolled knee brackets and claw-and-ball feet.
