The front-facing surface of the bentwood back is decorated with inscribed lines or moldings. Six of the seven spindles are tenoned through the top of the bentwood back. The back is short in proportion to the rest of the chair. The seat has inscribed lines that outline the perimeter of the spindles. Legs are tenoned through the seat. The stretchers are assembled in an H-shape. The legs are turned with vase and ring shapes. The stretchers are spindle-shaped; the medial stretcher has turned rings on either side of the central swelling. The chair is painted red.
