The bowed, bentwood back of the chair has molding on the front surface and is tenoned through the seat. The back of the seat composed of seven bamboo-turned spindles. The three central spindles are tenoned through the back of the chair. A shallow cove outlines the back section of the saddle-shaped seat immediately in front of the spindles. The chair has four bamboo-turned legs. Bamboo-turned stretchers are assembled in an H-shape. The overall paint treatment is green, with a red seat and yellow paint on the rings of the bamboo turnings.    General paint loss throughout the piece, especially on the front corner edges of the seat and the front of the medial stretcher.
