The rectangular tablet at the crest of the chair is solid with minimal decoration. Stringing around the perimeter of the crest front forms a rectangle with inverted corners. The top flares slightly up and out. The fronts of the side stiles are three-quarters chamfered in the upper portion. Between the stiles are three arrow-shaped spindles with round shafts and flared and flattened tops tenoned into the crest. The stiles and spindles are tenoned into the balloon-shaped seat, which is slightly dished and chamfered along the front. Four bamboo-turned legs are splayed and terminate in cylindrical turning.
