The rear stiles have flat front surfaces, curved rear surfaces, and taper slightly toward the crest rail. A solid, vase-shaped splat is set between the crest rail and the shoe. The compass-shaped seat is upholstered over the rail. The lower edges of the seat are outlined in upholstery tacks. The front cabriole legs have ogee-curved knee blocks and terminate in pad feet. The rear stump legs appear to be continuous with the stiles.
