The crest rail is serpentine and foliate-carved. The molded stiles curve to a point at the bottom of the chair back, where is carved a fan. Between the stiles are five vertical slats carved with tassel-like decoration of foliage and sheaves of wheat. Curved, bead-molded rear stiles support the chair back. A foliate-patterned fabric covers the seat. The chair widens from the rear to the front. The front legs are therm. The rear legs are stump and cant backward.
