The crest rail is serpentine and molded, with a central circular cutout, with rounded and foliate-carved ears. The chair back has an interlaced, pierced and scrolled splat with a quatrefoil base carved at the strap crossings, with scrolled and leafy designs. The fabric is secured with upholstery tacks.
