The cornice of the looking glass has projecting corners and a recessed center. The cornice is outlined in quarter-round molding. Thirteen small gilded balls follow the outline of the cornice and hang below its overhanging edges. The stiles have twisted molding along the front surfaces and are set within rectangular blocks at top and bottom. There is a rectangular reverse-painted glass panel at the top of the looking glass. The panel is painted with a white building on a hill in a bucolic setting, around which is a dark frame with acorns. A rail with molded edges separates the reverse-painted panel from the lower looking glass.
