The top is constructed of one fixed, rectangular board with curved edges. The top has an applied, cove molding with "hoof" or cloven corners that outlines the entire top. The top is attached to the frame with replaced glue blocks. The frame was originally constructed with mortise and tenon joints that are now reinforced with glue blocks. Two candle slides, made with breadboard construction, can be extended from opposite sides of the table. They extend from the frame on white pine runners that which are attached to the sides of the frame with glue blocks. The bottom edge of the frame has an applied oval cove molding on all four sides. The table has four cabriole legs with C-scrolls at the knees and pad feet.
