The contoured , rectangular back has a yoke-shaped crest rail. The rear stiles have flat front surfaces, curved rear surfaces, and taper slightly toward the crest rail. A solid, vase-shaped splat is set between the crest rail and the shoe. The chair has a trapezoidal slip seat. The lower edges of the front and side seat rails are cut in flattened arches. The front cabriole legs have ogee-curved knee blocks and terminate in pad feet with thick discs. The rear stump legs appear to be continuous with the stiles.
