Bow-back with the top as part of the bentwood outline. The rear stiles are tenoned through the seat. Eight spindles that are all tenoned through the crest rail. Gilding in the bamboo-turned rings as well as on the perimeter of the spindles. The remnants of a dark paint color is visible around the spindles; there are also remnants of a green paint finish. Saddle-shaped seat with a shallow cove outlining the back spindles. Gilding in the cove. Bamboo-turned legs and H-pattern stretchers with incised lines through the slightly bulbous turnings.
