The top of the chest of drawers overhangs the case slightly. The front and side edges of the top are cut in an ogee profile. The front of the case top has a serpentine profile, which continues through the case. The sides of the case top have a shallow ogee curve, but the sides of the case are flat. The case holds four graduated drawers, the fronts of which are outlined in beading. Each drawer has two brass knobs and a central, oval keyhole surround. Cove molding outlines the front and sides of the base of the case.
