Straight-front, rectangular top, which rotates on a circular piece of wood with three screws that allows the board to turn, but not lift up from the frame. Once the board rotates, it folds out to two boards to form a rectangle with knife hinges connecting the two boards. The top has integral bead molding on the edges. The rectangular frame under the table top is the size of one of the leaves. The long sides of the frame are veneered and terminate with small scrolls along the top edge. The table pillar is screwed into the bottom of this frame. Square pillar carved from one piece of wood, decorated with moldings, and tenoned to the base with wedges on all four sides. The surface of the pillar is veneered in crotch mahogany veneer that is difficult to see under most light due to an old, dark finish. At the base of the pillar there is a section of three-dimensional foliage carving followed by a large cove molding that ends in a quarter-round molding. The pillar is connected to a base that is squared in shape, but has concave sides and squared edges. At each of the four corners, there is a scrolled foot with castor attached to the bottom with screws. The large scrolls feature foliage and scrolled carving on the sides, which almost covers the castors completely. Evidence of early mill saw marks on the bottoms of the feet. Veneer loss throughout.
