(199.4 cm)"},{"label":"Description","value":"Federal-style field bed made of mahogany with an arched, serpentine tester frame, four posts, and a headboard.  The top frame is arched and has four cross ribs. The head posts are rectangular and tapered with chamfered corners and the terminals are block with chamfered corners. The headboard is triangular with a pointed arch. The foot posts are conical at top, with chalice and spool turnings, reeded shafts, a vase-shaped segment, and a cylindrical base atop the corner plinths at the bed frame. The plinths join the rails with bolts. The front legs are swelled with spool turnings and terminate in cylindrical and bun feet. Visible on the frame are various tool and upholstery markings.
