(231.1 cm)"},{"label":"Description","value":"Eight-day weight-driven movement tall case clock with strike made of mahogany.  The hood of the clock is circular and transitions subtly into the trunk. The hood consists of a transparent door with a molded wood bezel. Along the sides are carved brackets. Behind the door is the composite brass dial engraved with Roman numerals along the outer chapter ring . There are two smaller chapter rings. The lower of the two chapter rings indicates the hour by Roman numerals. Each dial has one pointed hand. The base of the hood has concave front corners. Below the hood is a molded band with raised rectangular panels with rounded corners.  The trunk has a molded, glazed door with an arched top. The front vertical edges of the trunk are cut in a wide cove. The works within the trunk are visible through the door. Cove molding outlines the front and side lower edges of the trunk.  The clock has a tall base.
