(109.2 cm)"},{"label":"Description","value":"Child?ÇÖs cradle. The three-part hood roof is constructed of overlapping planks nailed to one another and to a front apron and the back board. The front apron is cut into three cyma curves and fit into a rabbet at the side. The sides of the hood are cut into an S shape or ogee. Glue blocks, now missing, were used on the inside of the hood between the back and the sides. The sides of the cradle are canted out. The footboard is attached to the cradle sides using through dovetails and to the bottom with nails. The footboard has a curved top and has been repaired with a two butterfly joints. The back is a single board, nailed into a rabbet on the sides.
