(54.6 cm)"},{"label":"Description","value":"A Queen Anne-style dressing table constructed with crotch walnut veneer. The top has crotch walnut veneer at center, bordered by herringbone banding and a wide band of plain veneer; the edges are quarter-round molded. The case has five drawers with cock-bead molding around the drawer openings and a second line of cock-bead molding framing the overall drawer area. The drawers are arranged with a row of two drawers over a row of three drawers; the central drawer is half the height of the drawers flanking it, to accommodate the arch of the skirt. The drawers each have a central panel of crotch walnut veneer, a herringbone banding border, and an original bail pull on engraved keyhole surround. The skirt is flat arched on the sides and the sides of the front, with a serpentine arch at the center front; the skirt is edged with cock-bead molding and has two original turned acorn pendants.
