(63.5 cm)"},{"label":"Description","value":"Chippendale-style desk-and-bookcase made of mahogany primary wood and white pine and cedar secondary woods.  Surmounting the upper case is an elaborately carved broken arch pediment with rosettes and foliate-carved applied decorations, moldings, and three carved urn-and-flame finials on plinths. Two arched molded doors are flanked and divided by fluted pilasters with carved capitals. Two knobbed candle slides are below the doors. The lower case has a fall-front lid and four block-front drawers, the top on set between knobbed lopers. Each drawer has bail pulls on batwing escutcheons and a keyhole, with additional bail pulls and plates on the case sides. Around the base is decorative molding.
