The desk interior has a central prospect door with blocking and incised fan decoration. The door is fitted with a lock. To each side of the prospect unit is a graduated stack of three drawers, each with two small brass knobs. Below the desk surface, the case has four graduated drawers. The uppermost drawer is flanked by lopers, each of which has a single knob. The drawers each have a small keyhole surround and two bail pulls with solid, shaped back plates. The drawer fronts have integral beading along the edges. There is a pendant drop at the center of the case skirt.
