Surmounting the upper case is a scrolled gallery with ball and spike finials and a center tablet. The bookcase is fitted with gothic arched glazed doors, with knobs and keyholes, above veneer tablets. The lower case holds three drawers with bail pulls and engraved plates with locks and keyhole surrounds; the top drawer is between knobbed lopers. Around the drawer fronts is banding. The apron is ogee.
