The cupid's bow crest rail is ogee-arched with a central foliate carving, with scrolled ears, carved to simulate backward curving continuous with the side stiles. The outer edges of the stiles are rope-molded. The chair back has an trefoil pierced splat. The slip seat is trapezoidal; the seat frame has molding along its top edges. The front cabriole legs have leaf-carved knees and terminate in claw-and-ball feet; the back legs are stump.
