The interior is stepped in two tiers. The top tier has a central prospect door with a keyhole and a concave blocked front topped by fan carving. The door is flanked by vertical document drawers with turned half columns with urn-and-flame finials. The drawers are flanked by four pigeonholes with carved arch valances with serpentine bottom edges and serpentine dividers, over two convex blocked drawers. These are flanked by six stacked drawers with concave blocked fronts topped by fan carving. The bottom tier has five drawers blocked to match the top tier. All the interior drawers have round metal knobs. The case has four graduated drawers with escutcheons and bail pulls; cock-bead molding surrounds the drawer openings. Cove-and-quarter-round molding forms a narrow skirt with a shaped central pendant.
