Overall red paint treatment prevented catalogers from identifying all wood types. The bentwood back of the chair is tenoned through the saddle-shaped seat. The front surface of the bentwood back is decorated with moldings. The back of the chair has seven spindles. Four of these spindles are tenoned through the top of the chair back and secured with wedges. The bamboo-turned legs are tenoned through the seat. The stretchers, assembled in an H-shape, are turned with bulbous centers and incised lines that mimic the appearance of bamboo.    Two large repairs on the bottom of the seat. The seat has significant wear and areas of tear outs. Legs appear to have been cut down due to the height and fresh appearance of the wood on the bottom of the legs."},{"label":"Date Digitized","value":"9/16/2015"},{"label":"Marks, Signatures, and
