The étagère is made up of five quarter circle shelves, with one board per level with the smallest one at the top and the largest one at the bottom. The front of the shelves is cut in a serpentine shape with an integral cove and quarter-round molding at the front. On the top shelf is a gallery of two boards meeting at the back corner with carved out floral scrolling. The boards are held in place with wooden pegs. There are three spool turned legs on each level, with two at the front and one at the back. The legs are pegged through the shelves at the top and bottom, with a spike finial at the top of each leg where it goes through the shelf above. Below the bottom shelf are two feet at the front and one at the back, with the same finial above the two front feet where it is pegged through the bottom shelf. The feet are an urn-shape with a flare at the bottom above a spool shape.
