The top is a quarter round of mahogany with a large basin hole flanked by two smaller cup holes. The top is surmounted on the sides by cyma curved galleries that extend nearly the full depth of the side and meet at the back corner in a dovetail joint. The gallery is set into a groove in the case top. Chamfered cleats are attached to the sides to support a shelf, now missing. The front edge of the top has a half-round molding. The legs extend the full height of the case. The case sides are single boards attached to the legs with spline joints. The top is attached to the sides with glue blocks.    The case front is a canvas backed tambour, with a brass pull. There is a narrow fixed panel of tambour on the left, and a wider fixed panel of tambour on the right.    The case bottom is a single board attached to the sides with glue blocks. The case bottom is fronted with a cyma curved skirt.    The rear leg is square and straight to the floor. The side legs are square, curving outward at the bottom. A tripartite stretcher is joined in the center by a half lap joint and supported on screwed, chamfered blocks attached with a spline joint to the stretcher and mortised into the leg.
