The table top is circular when fully open. One, rectangular, fixed board at the center of the table top. Two demi-lune leaves flanking the central, fixed board. The demi-lune leaves are composed of one board each, and attached to the central, fixed board with two surface hinges per leaf. The table top is attached to the frame with wooden pins. The rectangular frame is mortised, tenoned, and pegged. The top of the table is not original to the base. The apron has extra mortises that serve no structural role. Shadow lines on the underside of the table top suggest the presence of a different base. The gate legs of the table rest awkwardly underneath the drop leaf hinges when the table is fully closed.    The table top supported by four fixed legs and two gates, each of which has two legs. The legs are turned with square sections. The gate legs pivot on dowels in the apron. Mortises are cut into the apron in order to accept the mortises cut into the gate legs, allowing the gate legs to fold in, and the leaves to fold down. The turned stretchers are mortised, tenoned, and pinned to the legs. There is some wear on the tops of the lower stretchers. The legs terminate in bun feet. The bun feet are integral to the legs.    The front of the table has a single drawer. The drawer front is solid and extends pass the sides of the drawer. There are hammer marks on the drawer back. The drawer bottom is composed of one board with the grain running front to back. Dovetail construction and nails join the drawer sides to the back, as well as the drawer sides to the front. The bottom of the drawer is nailed on the sides and on the underside of the back, and let into a groove in the front. The drawer is suspended on original runners. The runners are nailed into place. There is a stop block nailed at the rear of the runner. The bottom front drawer rail is secured to the frame with mortise and tenon construction."},{"label":"Date Digitized","value":"7/17/2018"},{"label":"Marks, Signatures, and
