The top back rail of the sofa curves at the ears. Cylindrical arm rests are mounted horizontally between scrolled arm supports at the front and extensions to the underside of the top rail. Two outer stiles and two inner vertical rails support the top rail. The stiles and rails are attached to a rectangular seat frame. Narrow horizontal rails along the sofa sides and back are attached to the front arm supports, stiles, and rails just above the level of the seat frame. Two horizontal rails with concave upper surfaces run between the front and rear rails of the seat frame. The sofa has two ring and urn turned legs at the front and two stump legs at the rear. All of the feet are fitted with castors.
