The stand has an upper and a middle section, each with a shelf surface, and a shaped, flat stretcher just above the feet. The sections and stretcher are separated and supported by three stiles or legs. The upper and middle sections each form a quarter circle, with two straight sides that meet at a right angle and a curved front.  Upper section: There is a gallery along the two straight sides of the upper section cut with ogee curves meeting at the corner with a small shelf at the peak where the two ogee curves are notched. The top of the upper section is cut with one large hole in the center and two smaller holes to either side of it to accommodate a basin and other toilet articles. There is integral cove molding along the front edge of the top. The top is attached to a three-sided frame with glue blocks. The frame follows the quarter-circle shape of the top and is mortise and tenoned into the legs. The front of the frame is veneered with figured maple with alternating dark and light stringing around the edge.  Middle section: The middle section consists of a shelf and a drawer set into a deep frame. The solid top of the middle section has integral cove molding along the front edge. The sides of the frame are attached to the legs with glue blocks. The front of the frame is divided into three fields with figured maple veneer and alternating light and dark wood stringing. The drawer is the full width of the center field. The veneered drawer front is edged with light and dark wood stringing and has a single brass knob. The drawer sides are full height with the back planed. The bottom is made of one board with side to side grain. There is chamfering at the front and sides where the drawer bottom is let into grooves at the sides and nailed to the underside at the back. There are dovetails at all four corners. The drawers rest on runners that seem to be original which are attached with nails and set into a groove in the side.  The stand has two front legs and one back leg. The squared front legs are straight until just below the stretcher, when they flare outward. The front two legs have a light stringing on either side that curves around the top. The back leg is straight. The legs are attached with glue blocks. There is a crossbow shaped stretcher between the three legs at the bottom. The stretcher has tapered sides and an ogee curved front.
