(51.4 cm)"},{"label":"Description","value":"Empire-style desk-and-bookcase made of mahogany with mahogany veneer and white pine secondary wood.  The top of the case has cavetto molding. The doors to the upper case are decorated with lancet-arched depressions; the right hand door has a keyhole. Below the doors are three horizontally aligned drawers with diamond-shaped keyhole surrounds. Atop the lower case is a hinged writing surface. The lower case holds three drawers. The uppermost drawer is flanked by lopers, each of which has a single knob. Unlike the top drawer, which has only a keyhole, the two lower drawers have two wooden knobs each. Columnar supports flank the side of the lower case.
