The crest rail is rectangular with a slight arch at the top. There is a distinct line where the wing bases rest on the arms. The arm scrolls are diminutive. The replaced upholstery has webbing supporting springs interwoven with waxed string. Legs are attached with mortise and tenon joints. The mahogany legs are square and tapered. The rear legs have a backward cant.
