The upper section of the clock is veneered and surmounted by a stepped pediment with a small, fretted cornice and three urn-and-spike finials. The center finial is mounted to a square column. The dial door has a bell-shaped window exposed the dial face, with a knob on the left side. Roman numerals denote time on the clock face, which has minute and hour hands and a winding hole. Beneath the time-circle is an inscription, which is unreadable due to the quality of the photograph. Stepped, decorative molding surrounds the hood base.  The base section is veneered and outlined in double string inlay.
