Overhanging molding surmounts the top of the upper case. Below is a veneered frieze. Bead molding outlines the two doors at the front of the case. The framed doors are arched at the top. The frames are each set with six glass panels separated by thin muntins. On the left side of the right door is a long, shaped escutcheon with a keyhole. Opening the doors reveals shelves.  The upper case sits back from the front of the lower case, leaving exposed surface. The lower case is veneered and holds a tall secretary drawer over three graduated drawers.
